A third year BSc Government and History student, I am originally from Milan. I attended the British School of Milan for all my life and only moved to London two years ago. During my time at LSE, I had the pleasure of attending the Italian Society’s events, admiring how the society managed to place itself at the forefront of current debates, representing the Italian culture and viewpoint to its fullest. Last year, I worked with the Italian Society Committee, while also being on the Political Risk and Investment Society Committee and the Women in Politics Society Committee. I also interned for the past two summers, recently as a Development Intern for the International Crisis Group, and last year for US Attorney General Kamala Harris’ Campaign for US Senate. I am passionate about politics and international relations, especially the EU, and am a firm believer in the power of learning from past experiences to understand and shape future trajectories. My most treasured hobby is singing, as I was part of the ‘Voci Bianche’ choir at La Scala Theatre for 9 years, participating in concerts and operas. I am honoured to be serving as President this year, and hope to successfully uphold the society’s values and mission.

A second year BSc Philosophy, Logic and Scientific method, I am originally from Torino, where I completed Liceo Classico before joining LSE. My greatest passions are Baroque Music and Football.  The Italian Society is an important point of reference for Italians and non-Italians in our community. As secretary I am honoured to contribute to its mission and to be an ambassador for Italian culture in London.

I am a second year BSc in International Relations from Rome, although I was born in the United States and have attended an American International school all my life. Through my previous academic experience and through my current studies, I have developed a special interest towards Global Affairs and International History, with particular focus on European Politics and the role that our country plays in such arena. Through the Italian Society, I look forward to interacting with some of the most brilliant individuals involved in this sector. As a lover and player of many team sports, especially soccer, I believe team work and communication are the key to obtaining great things. I am enthusiastic to collaborate with my fellow society members to maintain the society’s reputation and further improve its reach!

Born and raised in the picturesque Poets’ Gulf of Liguria, I moved to London in September 2017 to pursue a Master of Science in Public Management and Governance. London has been the last destination after living in Milan, where I studied International Economics at Bocconi University, and Rome, where I obtained a postgraduate Degree in Political Management from LUISS School of Government- Sole24Ore Business School. Alongside studying, I have had the chance to develop some professional experience in the Public Affairs/External Relations fields by working for different organizations in the private, public and non-profit sectors. Working to build networks and establish successful relations is my (not-so-secret!) passion – one that I am extremely happy to put to good use as Outreach Officer in the Italian Society Committee. My interests include yoga, skiing, as well as running and outdoor activities.

Originally from the little town of Moncalieri (Torino), I moved to Milan, then to Rome and finally arrived in London, where I study BSc Philosophy, Politics and Economics. The Italian society offers a golden opportunity to apply the multi-dimensional approach I learned to Italian issues and debates. While I love and am very proud of my culture, having studied in the French system all my life I feel like I missed something of the Italian experience. I am definitely looking forward to learn from my fellow members and from the events we will organise!
